2005_4_1_boffi5.gifOne of these days, we sigh, whenever we think of Boffi Soho. High end? Yes. Italian? Yes. Too much? Yes. Beautiful? Yes -- as long as you don't overdo it...

In the world of kitchen design, it's companies like Boffi that set the trends and often transform other impulses. When you shop at IKEA or Home Depot for your kitchen cabinets, you are looking at influences that start with Boffi.

We recommend taking a stroll through their showroom - simply for design tips if nothing else. Not everything is cold and severe (though a lot is), but we've long been fans of Joe Colombo's MiniKitchen as well as their Single Kitchen pieces.

NY Magazine says: "For the ultimate in chic, contemporary fixtures, head down to Boffi. Interior designers shop here for elements that can transform a bathroom into spa-like heaven...Don't be put off by the gallery-ish atmosphere; novices are more than welcome."

We bought bath fixtures from them, and they are wonderful. Great client service -- very helpful, very nice. And the taps and mixers are gorgeous!

Boffi is unique in that they offer kitchen and bath furnishings (as compared to other brands that offer only kitchen). Their positioning within Luminaire allows you to complete the package with living room and bedroom furniture. 90k kitchen, 25k bathroom, 50k furniture.
