Brocade Home

8-23-brocade.jpgWe tend to think of Brocade Home as a cross between Anthropologie and Restoration Hardware. Think feminine, think romantic, think deep muted colors and curly furniture that could have been your great-grandmother's. Think of it as the feminine home for the 21st century...

Brocade Home was created by Lisa Versacio, who previously developed and launched West Elm for Williams Sonoma, Inc. The Brocade Home brand "fuses the past with modern sensibility, integrating clean lines with a touch of decoration and romance." Featuring items like glass crystal chandeliers, soft pintuck duvet covers, and intricate detailed headboards, Brocade Home is decadent eye candy.

I tend to think of Brocade Home as a cross between a headache and vertigo. I get dizzy looking at the catalog and the NY location I could barely stand to be in.

I am drooling over this place like a teenage boy with his first Playboy.
I nearly cried over the blue and white chairs and when I'm queen I will absolutely sleep in that bed.

Amazake, I was about to write something along what you wrote, but I can't improve. You take the cake. This stuff is beyond weird.

I thought they were going out of business months ago? Or did they just split from RH?

I would rather just buy ANTIQUE furniture and add pretty linens and things to it. I would probably not buy any of their major furniture but some of the decoration stuff is pretty cute.

Brocade Home doesn't even carry half the stuff in these photos anymore and hasn't for a long time. Not online, anyway. Plus, isn't this store famous for its terrible shipping and customer service?

Modkitten, Brocade Home is NOT out of business. There was some confusion a few months ago about what was going on with them, but as far as we know, they broke with Restoration Hardware and are now back in business on their own.

And Rosenatti, most of the items in the pictures are available online, at least they were available as of this morning.

whatever you do, do not sign up for their catalog because they send at least one a month! some months, I got two or more! However, they were very quick to take me off their mailing list.

I just purchased a duvet and it was beautiful but extremely cheap quality. Oh - and horrible horrible customer service. As a frequent online shopper, I have never encountered such rudeness with a store. I'll happily spend my money elsewhere.
