2005_8_15_patsy.jpgWe don't usually push posters, but this tip is worth passing on.

Hatch Show Prints is one of the oldest working letterpress print shops in America, responsible for those distinctive two color posters that were used to advertise music shows by the likes of Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash, not to mention current biggies like Garth Brooks.

They also did a great deal of product advertising, the designs of some of which border on a greatness not unlike the famous Italian absinthe posters.

2005_8_15_coffee.jpgAlice says: On a recent business trip to nashville, this little shop caught my eye: Hatch Show Prints.

2005_8_15_airstream.jpgThey have a great selection of vintage prints (I picked a handpainted "it's better - pure coffee" sign for my kitchen), some one-of-kinds. and, if you have the patience, you an also sift through their pile of extras from print jobs they've been commissioned to do.

Prices run from $10 to $75, orderable online (but the site is SLOW). (Thanks, Alice!) MGR
