...Reminds me of a friend telling us about his first crossing to Europe with his family aboard the S.S. United States when he was 3 years old.

Maybe it's because much of the Northeast is without power because of the ice storm?

Some college terms may have ended by now. Some people leave town to escape Christmas. Business trips. Lots of reasons to be walking around town with a suitcase. Maybe they lost their job and their home and they are walking around with all their stuff.
