AT Survey: Men's Pajama Habits 2008

2005_1_5_man.jpgOkay, guys, it's your turn (we did the women yesterday). Each year we ask our readers to tell us a few personal tidbits so that the rest of us can feel a little more normal or our own weird nocturnal habits.

Do you wear flannel pajamas?

Do you all climb into bed in little speedos like Jacques Cousteau?

Do you secretly sleep in your old college insignia boxers?

Or do you sleep in the raw to show off your newly waxed goodness?

This is totally anonymous, so you can tell the truth.

See all our past results below...

I know a few people who sleep in team jerseys (Yankees, Mets, Giants, Islanders, etc). I like the idea but the synthetic fabric is too stifling for me.

There is nothing worse than waking up in the middle of the night by the feeling of being strangled by a t-shirt and pants wrapped twice around me! stick to the Briefs! :)

I really do not understand the fascination of these surveys OR what it has to do with one's home.

On a related note, WHEREEEEE can you find robes in the city? They all seem to be made for giants. I found a nice CK one at Macys but it could wrap around me twice!

I wish i could find a nice slim fit robe.

Briefs and a T-shirt, unless it's cold then it's pajama bottoms and a t-shirt.

same as bepsf, except I wear boxers. Occasionally when it's really cold I'll wear a pajama set rather than pj bottoms & t-shirt. similarly when it's hot, I may go without a t-shirt & just wear boxers.

Depending on how tired I am and what I just did... If I'm really tired, I just wear whatever I have on, minus the pants... if I just bumped uglies, I go to sleep naked. Most of the time I'm in the middle with just boxers. And I do have that problem, waking up just to take off my shirt.

"I really do not understand the fascination of these surveys OR what it has to do with one's home." I think it's not really a fascination... and it's got EVERYTHING to do with one's home; usually someone who sleeps in all flannel won't have the same taste to one who sleeps in a thong. I'm guessing besides being a fun post, it'd be interesting to see the male demographics' results and how that affects this website.

(as always, I KNOW I'll have some people enraged at any of my comments, so speak among yourselves and suck it.)

This is just a silly, fun little survey to amuse everyone and I'd say it fits right into "bedroom month" or did we finish that already.

I'm getting horny just reading this thread. Now I'm wondering what Hugh Jackman wears to bed.

But because the survey isn't asking any other questions, we don't know this for sure. And it would be interesting to know. What if it's the thong people who love traditional furniture and the pj crowd who's into MCM?

There are a few factors that have to be considered before answering. In the winter I may wear a t-shirt and undies, but in the warmer months I may wear just undies or nothin.

Flannel jammies are for lumber jacks or little boys.

I'm happy to see the survey... because I was pondering this same thing 2 nights ago when getting ready for bed.

For me it's usually a t-shirt and bottoms in the winter and t-shirt and shorts/boxers/briefs in the summer. And yeah, it's usually color/design coordinated with various areas in my apartment.

shut up. It's not that gay.

Ok yeah it is. :-p
