Herman Miller launched a new focus on home workspaces at ICFF. The Lifework Portfolio collection includes mid-century classics like the Eames Desk and George Nelson's Swag Leg Desk and new designs including the Airia desk and storage unit from Kaiju Studios (above)...

A truly modern desk, Airia integrates cord management into the design.

The desk includes cork-lined trays to organize supplies mimic the rounded shape of the desk.

The Airia media cabinet can be used for storage or display and is a great size for peripherals like printers and scanners.
The full Lifework Portfolio collection can be viewed online at Herman Miller.
This line is beautiful. I have a very strong feeling the cost is beyond my means, but wow... I'd love to sit at one of these desks all day. (Well, as long as I have to sit at a desk all day, I'd love for it to be this one!)

Just the name "Kaiju" earns it gold!
It probably has a kaiju pricetag on it, though. 8^(

Very interesting piece. My hesitation with these type of desks is that I haven't evolved beyond wires yet. I'm not sure how I'd keep the area uncluttered, and I would wind up going crazy.
Does anybody else have this problem?

When design takes priority, the result is often strange closets.

I like these. Still more than I would spend on a desk but not crazy expensive like I expected.

Wow.
I may like this even more than the Nelson Swag desk, which has been my #1 desk-I-can't-afford for quite awhile.

The desk is charming. I can't say the same lines work for the cabinet, though.

I love the desk. The cabinet reminds me of a carton of ice cream.
