I bought this 3-drawer organizer at the store the other. In the store it was $14.99. On the website the 'sale price' is more than twice that.

Anyone know what the price is for the parson's desk IN THE STORE? Just curious. I love the blue desk, but not sure if I want to make the leap.

Anyone know how long this sale is going to last? I'm moving on Sunday and am not sure yet where I would put this if I got it, but I REALLY want it!

Would this work as a landing strip table? I'm too lazy to look up the dimensions and attempt to imagine what it might look like.

Helena, I think it would work great as a landing strip. The dimensions are 40lx24dx30h, just in case that is helpful.

It's actually 48in in length not 40, sadly. I need a new desk and this would beyond perfect, if not for it being too long!

a word to the wise: Two months ago I purchased a sale sofa over the phone with a west elm store in miami, because the ones here in new york didn't have any more in stock. My credit card was charged and I was told the sofa would be arriving in the subsequent 2 weeks. never came. They lost it. The manager of the store told me it was discontinued and that they didn't really have it to begin with. The whole thing took way too long to sort out, and as a result, I'll be wary of buying from them again.

Oh, also, there are two of them on that great Blueprint cover of a workspace from a few months ago.

just a heads up - I went to the west elm store in oakbrook, IL last week and they had the parsons in nile on sale for $75!! I'de been eyeing it for over a year so I totally lucked out - definetly check out the stores before you buy online if you can.

I have been considering getting this in white for ages...maybe I'll actually do it. Anyone have more input on the sturdiness, etc of it? I've seen them in the stores--but the furniture there always looks a little worse for the wear.

Does this sale mean robin's egg blue and wasabi are officially passe?
