Alto Table at DDC

06.25.alto.jpg

Sometimes multi-tasking furniture does two things so-so. But the Alto Table, which we spotted at Domus Design Collection, functions as both a coffee table and an end table beautifully.

The tabletop is hinged on a simple stainless steel base. By simply rotating the top on the base, the table can sit as a low, four-legged coffee table or a higher, c-shaped end table. The hinge is so smooth and clean-looking that you don't mind it being exposed on the side of the table, hinting at its clever split personality.

very smart idea. I think the smaller table is overpriced, the larger one that converts into a full dining table, it is worth it.
