Furnishings Inspired by Trees & Branches

8-12-branch-furnishings.jpg

From How To Paint a Tree Mural and How To Make a Tree Branch Curtain Rod to the Branch Shelf from WOK Media, the organic shapes and structure of branches and trees is a growing trend. Here are three very different products that embrace this look...

There is a cruel irony about the way that trees are deconstructed and then constructed again to take on the resemblance of a tree. Sort of like chickens and Chicken McNuggets.

I do love the tree shapes!

I just got this for my home as a solution to a tricky storage problem. I needed something tall and narrow to serve as a media center and it works perfectly. Couldn't be happier with my purchase!

My all-time favourite piece of furniture inspired by nature is this bed by Shawn Lovell Metalworks:

It is right out of a fairytale. The other pieces on the site are as whimsical.
