Imitation is flattery. Many people admire Ligne Roset's Crescendo Table - the one that doubles as both coffee table and dining table - but many don't want to pay Ligne Roset's prices. The issue was a popular post back in June (Good Questions: Any Adjustable Coffee Table Resources) and shows no signs of slowing.
We recenty recieved a tip that Dania is making the Esprit Dining/Coffee Table - which looks DAMN close to Ligne's - for $595. Considering Ligne's sells for $1,640, this is a dramatic difference and is sure to show up somewhere in the construction. Still, for those on a tight budget, this is a new option. (Thanks, Doug!) MGR
FYI, they closed the Ligne Roset store on 3rd and 65th St.
saw one on lex and about 84/85 for $750. at table height it unfolds and rotates to expand to twice the size of the coffee table.

Hey, I've found a store on 15th and 7th which carries two adjustable height coffee tables. They both expand to accomodate dinning. Visit jensen-lewis.com. The model names are Mascotti and Eleven.
Any suggestions as to where I can find a dining table like Lignet Roset's THOR but not as expensive?
arg. i've been looking for this table and can't find them listed anywhere but here (dania esprit). no where on the dania site is it listed, and no one is selling it used, so i don't know if it was never built or what...

try the calligaris eleven its an italian furniture. It is a coffeee table and adjust to a dining table, better than crescendo of ligne roset, since it expands and sits more people. Modern escentials web site sells it cheaper around $800.
what about STRATES model by Lignet Roset? Is there a knockoff?
A Ligne-Roset crescendo knock off is available at Target.com. Just as at Dania, the table is called the Esprit wood table. Target is charging $849.99, Dania is charging $659.00, but does not ship or sell online.
Has anyone purchased the Esprit Coffee table from Dania or Target? Is it as nice looking as Ligne Rosets Crescendo one? Quality?
I saw a nice table on EuropeByNet.com (Rotor Coffee Table by Bellato)that looks VERY similiar to Ligne Roset's Strates table! It costs about $1200. Don't know price for Strates
I just saw the table today in a high priced furniture store on Main St. in Philly for $1830.00. I want the table but not for the price.
