NY Good Questions: Similar, Less Expensive Dining Table?

I love the Platner dining table from All Modern.

However, it's a bit expensive at $2,800.

I was hoping any of the AT readers could offer me some suggestions for where I can find a similar, yet less expensive table.

It you really love consider it an investment rather than an expense.

It's not as elegant and the glass seems a little chinzy to me.

i'm with moderngal on this one. there is no substitute for a platner table. save up and buy it new or try small auction houses that have frequent 20th century sales.
