NY Good Questions: Similar, Less Expensive Table?

12.21table.jpgHello AT,

I'm coveting this night table at Anthropologie.com, but I'm not willing to spend almost $700 on it.

Essentially it's supposed to look like a stack of decorative picture frames seen from the side.

Any suggestions on how to recreate this on a budget?

Or does anyone know any similar, less expensive night tables out there?

Thanks! Nicole

Stack a whole bunch of different moldings? Attach them to the pre-existing drawer fronts of a cheaper piece of furniture after finishing them each differently?

Oh, and you may want to stack them sideways, so it has the same effect.

or, just collect a bunch of old, thrift store and yardsale frames; glue and cut to size...

Nicole, have a table I consider selling. It's similar, I'd say, but maybe I'm biased. Have a look here http://www.signer.as/table/ and then contact me at alexander (dot) signer (at) gmail (dot) com if interested. Thanks!
