Check out this amazing coffee table from designer Thomas Wold. Known for turning discarded and vintage furniture pieces into amazing new creations, the designer was commissioned by Good Hotel San Francisco to create this Piecemeal Coffee Table for the lobby...
From Thomas Wold's blog: "I was commissioned to design and build a coffee table for a new hotel in San Francisco. The project called for green/recycled materials so that was my starting point. I thought to use broken furniture and misc items, fuse them all together to make the table form."

I get a bit of a phallic vibe from the design on the table. Not my favorite piece of his, but lovely nonetheless.

Way cool table!!! Looks better from above though.....as Saarinen would say, the rest is a slum of legs.

Definitely one of the better pieces using reclaimed objects. But I don't care much for the legs, either.

I take that back... it looks better from the other side.

As luck has it, Whytephoenix, with that de-groovy circular sectional, you can see it from pretty much any vantage you wish (if you're at the Good Hotel in SFO).....

MCH, my first thought.
I don't want that to be my first thought about a table.
