TIM and TIM_TIM Shelves by Steffen Kehrle

The TIM and TIM_TIM small console tables are perfect for small spaces! Designed by Steffan Kehrle and recently unveiled at Vienna's Design Week, the small consoles lean against a wall for support. The TIM_TIM, pictured above, has two support legs and is ideal for a tight hallway or small entry way. The TIM corner shelf (pictured below the jump) is for an even smaller space and has only a single support leg...

Munich-based Steffan Kehrle designed the TIM collection for FORMvorRAT. We hope they'll be available in the U.S. soon — these designs are perfect for landing strips!

i think they're pretty cool! although i'd likely secure it to the wall and ditch the legs.

really sweet though not sure about the step landing. i don't feel comfortable on curving staircases as is and that would be too much for me.

Not sure how I feel about this - totally practical for someone in a rental, but at the same time the legs don't look well-integrated into the design. My initial impression was that these were wall-mounted units with poles leaning against them.

The legs are the interesting part...otherwise it would just be your basic floating shelf!

so who's knocking off who's idea? isnt this an awful lot like the jonas and jonas wallflower series? in either case, i still like it...if i can get a purchasing contact on either I'd be so happy!

Ok, I really like the way it looks and I like the concept, but I'd be the first to kick it over. Seriously, wouldn't it be so easy to catch your feet on the legs?
