A modern twist on the classic sawhorse. I owe this find from
Big Game to
Livingetc magazine.
Big Game is another extremely talented Belgian design collective.
Ligne-Roset sells a high-gloss lacquered version of the
Trestle table, while the version featured on the
Big Game site is true to its plywood roots...
The
Trestle Table is available with the glass top or just the trestles. With the great Baroque detail, these would be perfect hung on a wall of contrasting color, ready to be removed and used as impromptu table legs. Functioning as empty picture frames, it would be simple idea for small spaces that don't need a table/desk all the time. This is also a great DIY project. As a sidenote, stear clear of the
Ligne-Roset US site—it's a bad-Flash nightmare that hasn't been updated. It is much easier to browse and search on
Ligne-Roset UK.

I am floored by these, I love all the trestle tables on the market right now and this one is at the top of my list. Knowing Ligne-Roset, any idea of how much a pair of these go for?
What a super DIY project!
courtnyleigh—According to LivingEtc, they are 364 GBP for the legs (no glass). Roughly $700. I can image IKEA PS doing these for $100ish....
How do you keep the table from spreading apart and collapsing?
I own a pair of these trestles which I bought from Ligne Roset in London and I absolutely love them. I can safely tell you that any piece of furniture from Ikea or the like would never compare in terms of design or quality - these are truly unique!
I've been searching for chrome-plated trestle legs for an existing glass desk - any recommendations on where to look?
