Yay Philly!

Question-- how would this finish hold up over time? Water rings from glasses, little dimples and chips, etc?

Does it really need to be $676? What a rip off...

Ha, I went to undergrad with Josh! As talented as he is, the price for this piece is absurd.

nice design but waaaayy too much $$ for mdf. for that kind of money you could be looking at real coffee tables.

Do y'all not understand that furniture makers without MASS distribution have to cover their costs in ways the big box stores do not?

I was more surprised to find that nowhere on his site does it list the table's dimensions (at least not that I could find.) Who would buy a table not knowing how it big it is?

looks like one could make this on their own with a jig-saw. Or take a night class at high school in wood working.

I love how this looks, but I think the price is a bit steep for lacquered MDF. Plus I would be concerned as to how this would hold up over time.

Btw, the designer is CERTAINLY not seeing 100% of the profit on this.

And lacquer... labor intensive, not cheap.

Who wants to show me a coffee table WORTH this same cost? I'd be interested in seeing what the audience finds to be a table IN this price range, WORTH this price range...

And there are already (at least) three touch points on this product... designer, manufacturer/distributor, retailer.

Nobody in this chain works for free. Nor should they.
