Camilla Kropp's Serving Trio

This serving trio from Finnish design company Iittala is stunningly simple. The three stackable vessels designed by Camilla Kropp include a pitcher, a small bowl and a bigger bowl. Stacking makes them easy to store in a small space or carry to the table. While coffee or tea service is the most obvious application, a pitcher and small bowls always come in handy when entertaining...

We would use the large bowl for olives and the small one for pits. The pitcher could be a modern substitute for a gravy boat or help serve your home-made salad dressing.

There are two versions of the trio: clear and multi-colors (clear, ultramarine, and sand). The multi-colored version is available from MoMA Store and Unica Home for $90. The clear version is $75 from Unica Home.

It's absolutely beautiful but I don't think that pitcher will work as a gravy boat, at least, not without a plate underneath to catch the drips.

breathtaking, like most of their designs. And what a great gift for someone who has 'everything'.
