Large Trays from Deadly Squire

smalltrays.jpg

We have been looking for a tray large enough to fit two plates, two glasses and maybe a bottle of wine. We were thrilled to find exactly that from one of our favorite pattern makers--the Deadly Squire.

We love these guys. Husband and wife design duo. (Husband, Tim, is from the punk band Les Savy Fav and wife, Anna, a talented painter). The large tray is 17"x23" and is $110. It's a little expensive, but we've been hunting for something this large and it's definitely hard to find. Our favorite pattern is the one above, which started from sketches of a raspberry bush. If you find a pattern you love, they have a whole line of products based on each pattern design.

Scandinavian Grace sells the trays, but you can also buy direct from Deadly Squire.

Gorgeous. But Jeez they're pricey. Isn't there a cheap melamine version?
