Has anyone tried these -- do they have the rough popsicle-stick feeling?

Could be fun for a party!

I live in England and a local deli used to have this cutlery. It's actually quite good, although I wouldn't use it on a steak or something really heavy. They don't snap like poor, cheap plastic forks and knives often do (well, they do for me at least).

Oh, the spoons tend to be a little shallow though, since they try to mould the wood into the right shape. Took ages to drink soup.

Not at all. Just trying to keep things on track and to the point, which I thought you were a big fan of, since you seem to take great pleasure in "setting straight" your fellow posters, the blog editors, and pretty much anyone else who contributes to or enjoys this site.

How do you get "nasty" from that, exactly?
