This is a handsome bowl. I want one. Looks like there is bottom covering so it won't scratch.

i love elsewares - they also have little votive holders made from recycled bike parts. they're irreverent yet classic, and my mother (my MOTHER!!) uses them on her screened-in porch in texas. best christmas gift ever.
