Zinnia Sketch Napkins at Anthropologie

0722_sketch2.jpg

A sketch on a napkin. These napkins from Anthropologie have sweet zinnias "sketched" into them with stitches. They look like maybe grandma made them and gave them to you when you were little...

The Zinnia Sketch Napkins come in a set of four for $24. Made of cotton, they're perfect for a summertime meal. Choose from four colors.

Pretty, but I'd rather have the vintage version these are knocking off.

I gave up my iron. Anyone have some pretty napkins like these that don't need ironing?

Everything at Anthropologie looks like your grandma didn't want it anymore. FYI - I have a grandma. She gives me stuff I admire any time I like, but before I go ahead and make my whole apartment just like hers. She also has some stuff that's hipper than Anthros.

True! Except your granny and mine won't ask $50 for this made-in-china thread rag.

I think they're cute. Any vintage ones you find will be yellowed and expensive for a complete set anyway.

They're cute, but you could do this yourself, if you have free time and/or a sewing machine. And ebay and shopgoodwill have dozens of sets, all not made in China.
