Introducing Jen Garrido
A picture’s worth a thousand ... birds. And just might inspire the palette for an entire apartment. These colors are grabbing me. Any takers?

In the artist’s words, “I construct my work using a delicate balance of choice and process. I begin each piece by building up chromatic layers of paint with fluid mixtures of color. As I work, I pay attention to the way the colors and forms touch and how they bleed into each other. I carve out and paint around negative shapes using a soupy mixture of white to create icing-like white areas of paint.”

Garrido recently exhibited her work at the SFMoMA Artists Gallery in San Francisco. Inquiries about the work? Please contact the artist directly via email or check out The Branch Gallery in Durham, NC for available work and prices.

Does anyone know what the price point is on these?

hi robyn -- not sure of prices -- she was at the affordable art fair - the artist recommends contacting the Branch Gallery -- her primary gallery. They are very responsive and i'm sure will send you a price range.
