I love a silhouette. These drawings are wonderful to see up close, because of the sheen and variation in the very very densely drawn pencil – and they are absolutely haunting from afar.
From the artist’s statement: “Fusing the spiritual with the physical, they depict a world which is real but not realistic; a meditative space unburdened by gravity or perspective: a place of balance and harmony.”
