We were walking by Deitch and had to stop to stare through the windows at these ink and guache paintings. We love the colorful ones. Simple and calming, we could see them in our own home right away. The gallery was closed, but we went back the next day to get the scoop.
The show is called Yes and Not Yes and is the first NY show by Tauba Auerbach, and artist whose "fascination with the origins of language, its break-downs and slippages especially, has led her to an artistic study of language". At Deitch until November 4th.
