On Saturday, October 15, as part of its 30th anniversary celebration, the Institute of Culinary Education (ICE) is rolling back the clock and offering eight different cooking classes for $30 each (its regular fees for similar classes are $80 to $95).
The available classes are:
- Sushi 101: Roll Your Own
- Tapas Rapidas with Sangria
- Icing the Cake
- Chocolate Truffles
- Great Wine Values
- Wine, Cheese & Pate

*At dinner last night we decided that as much as we liked the name FOOD for this column, we wanted to keep it within the verbal environment of the "apartment"; you know, as in "it's one of the rooms inside an apartment". "The Kitchen" will be opening as separate blog next month.
