Hot Tip: Use a Toothbrush Holder as a Vase

08.30.toothbrush.jpgMartha taught us to use a toothbrush holder as a vase if we're no good at flower arrangements. It's in the current issue of her Martha Stewart Living magazine.

Then we also came across the hint on the Real Simple website. Thanks, home decor print media, for helping out us who are less-than-savvy with our flower arrangements!

That's so Real Simple.
I think it's more Martha to use a "frog"
(I think that's what you call weighted little base with holes for the stems that you put inside of flower vases)

I think it's a Lenten Rose.

Cat, I belive those flowers are anemones. The petals come in many colors and I've seen both black and yellow centers.

That's anemone coronaria. Which I specify only because there's another anemone that looks like a daisy that I ordered once by mistake.
