Today's Email: Thread Count Fraud

Last Thursday's email: Rockin' New Tub Trug Colors!

12-19-emailicon.jpgWe're running late today, but we'll still get our email out by 12:30. And we've got a good one, too. Apparently there's been some thread count FRAUD going on and Bed Bath and Beyond is involved...

If you're not signed up, go for it right now (on the upper left nav). If you are interested in old emails, we'll be archiving them with a week's delay, you can find links below or by searching for "AT Email", and a shortlist is growing below the jump...

I bought some of those sheets! I was surprised at how quickly they pilled when they were advertised as 600 thread count. I only used them a handful of times before I put them away. I considered giving them away, but haven't done it yet.

I read the settlement offer and you have to have the receipt to get your money back. Who keeps the receipt for sheets? I'm going to go back and check my credit card statements to see if I can find the charge.

I don't understand.. why would I sign up for the email when everyday the content of the email is posted on the site? not only that, but the contents of every past email too? I read the rss feed and its very repetitive.

Dianap, Each day I tell you what the email is going to be about, but I don't post it to the site for a week at least. We absolutely don't intend to be repetitive, but we do want you to know what's going on in both places.

I appreciate that you post the contents of the email here (even if a few days later) - ANYTHING to reduce the number of e-mails I get!

I keep trying to sign up for the daily emails but never get any - it seems to accept my email but nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?
