Benjamin Moore Pocket Palette

2004_9_7_benjamin.jpgMaking life easier....or not? We have yet to use one of these neat devices, and haven't heard that they are perfect YET, but this could be the turning point. Benjamin Moore's Pocket Palette is a compact digital color reader that will match any color (from paint, fabric, ink or nature) to the closest color within the Benjamin Moore collection. It will even allow you to remember what the hell you used to paint the bathroom long after you have forgotten.

The price is set for $299 and will be available in the late fall. The price is steep. Someone should buy a bunch and rent them out. (via Josh Rubin) MGR

Graphic designers have had the equally covetous Pantone Color Cue:

Hey, and wasn't Benjamin Moore the first to put paint in those twist and pour cans? If so, I think we love them even more.

Whoops... Dutch Boy should get the credit for the twist and pour cans. Oh well. We still like Benjamin Moore.
