apartment therapy changing the world, one room at a time

Franzus Ladder Kart

04.23.ladder.jpg

Designed for photographers, but good for the home. The Franzus Ladder Kart is a combination step ladder/ hand truck with a 250-pound capacity. For many of us, our small apartments have high ceilings, allowing us to expand upward if we can reach high enough. And, of course, we can all use a small cart for moving things about town...

That's where this handy two-in-one is particularly useful for the city-dweller with no space to spare. The product appears to be marketed toward photographers, but we can get in on the goods, too, at a price of only about $60.

Regina--
HYSTERICAL!

I JUST found and bought this yesterday. I just got a Manhattan Min-storage "closet" yesterday, and it is a second level thing, blocks from my house. Was looking for a small step ladder, but also needed a "dolly" to get stuff back and forth, and could not believe this two-in-one solution.

I'll let you know how it works when it arrives.

Too funny!

Ah, I've been looking for something like this!

Seems like J & R might be the lowest price available. I wonder if it's available for in-store pick-up for those of us in New York City?

That is a great idea, but often when I need a cart it's for a bunch of stuff that is just easier to toss in a granny cart than it would be to attach to an open one like that, with bungee cords or whatever. Too bad, because I need a stepladder and I bet that takes up less room when put away than the annoying, closet-eating granny cart (yes, even when folded).
