So far as I can tell, Walldesigns' site doesn't mention any vendors anywhere -- they just sell their stuff at their store.

any mention if they ship stuff to the US?

(thanks for translating btw, much appreciated as I'd really like to get some of those trees)

Here's what I can determine about shipping. The Services page has a mention of "commande a distance" that pops up a bubble that you can mail order their product. Clicking on the recommended link -- "Bon de Commande" -- gets you a .pdf order form.

Way down bottom of the form with an asterisk, they say "thank you for contacting us for delivery outside our nation and the European Union." That's all the detail they give, so I'd guess that they kind of think they might ship to other places if someone really wanted it, but there's no real policy in place.

Check out our new range of children's wallpapers on our site in the boutique section, though we now sell in the US via Velocity at www.velocityartanddesign.com.

Our Playtime range is also featured at apartment therapy - san francisco. BTW I have to agree, Cole and Son really should be in the top 10 - there would be no new wallpaper or re-interest in pattern if it wasn't for them.

Great site

Umm, weren't Osacr Wilde's last words "Either that wallpaper goes, or I go"?

And hopefully, the Alpha Workshops site will be updated soon, since they, too, deserve much credit for the wallpaper rebirth.

I just saw great wallpapers by Cavern at the ICFF show. You can see them at www.cavernhome.com which is worth checking out even if your are not interested in wallpaper because even the site is beautifully designed!

There's actually a really awesome website called Blik with a lot of really cool wall graphics.

Another amazing wallpaper designer from the UK who sells in the US is the consistently stylish Neisha Crossland.

I'm trying to find the wallpaper that is in the new anthropoligie catalog. It almost looks like a mural of woods. I have no idea where to look.

posted by Alyssa on 2006-07-10 16:21:55

I have not seen the catalogue - alyssa, but is it "The woods " by Cole and Son?

I've been obsessed with finding the Domestic wall appliques in New York.

Et voila - at Rare Device in Brooklyn.

A small correction: Hanna Werning (the designer of the Animalflower wallpaper) is from Sweden and not from Denmark. Best regards Emmie

Alot of the stuff out there is pretty standard. Seems like everyone has the basic circles and geometric shapes. One company that actually has some very unique designs is http://slicksticks.com The people there have an art background. Anyways, good luck with your wall graphic projects.

P.S. if you decide to order, you can use the coupon code 'dunc' for a discount ;-)

Yes..Yes..Don't forget about Slicksticks.com! I love their stuff. Very creative. Highly recommend picking up some of their wall decals if you are looking for that sort of thing. I had a question and their customer service was easy to call and very friendly and helpful. Didn't really expect that from an art company.

Anyways, give slicksticks a look.

Best,
Michael

Louise Body does some nice papers. I recently ordered the Pavillion Birds/Blue, but I am still waiting for deliver (7 weeks later, despite the 3-4 weeks estimated). www.louisebodywallprint.com

Blik is awesome. I also like Ferm. It's another wall decal place. But they've also got papers.

You should definitely check out Julia Rothman at http://www.juliarothman.com/

She sells all kinds of things, including designs which you can make into wallpaper yourself. Sometimes she makes up her own. But her work is truly unique - better than anything I've seen. I don't know why Anthropologie hasn't signed her up. And, no, I'm not related to her!
