Destination Shower Curtains by Izola

A view of the Brooklyn Bridge from your bathtub? Sounds expensive. Nope, it costs only $28.00. Just check out the collection of Destination Shower Curtains at Semplice Home.

You can also travel to Venice canals or Paris rooftops from your shower with these. Black-and-white photos are printed on 72"x72", machine-washable, clear shower curtains. We're loving it.

Hmmm....cut the part that says "Travel no further than your shower" and you get a nice piece of art work that you can probably hang up on the wall or use a wall divider.

Does the shower curtain actually have the words printed on it? I'd love the picture, I'd hate the big words.

From what I can tell, Chi, that's not actually printed on the curtain. The Polaroid motif seems to be a graphic device the store uses on their site.

I suspect the words are not on the shower curtain, because all of their products are shown on pretend Polaroids, with that same writing. Still, I'd like to see a picture of one actually hanging in a bathroom.

I saw the Brooklyn Bridge one at Urban Outfitter's web site. It cost $32.00.

No text.

I got mine from urban outfitters a few days ago. Really nice and big, no words.

I totally thought of using it as artwork in my entrance hall too! I was going to use rasterbator for something like this, but this could possibly be even better.

For those of you who have seen the curtain in person, is it really shiny, or more matte?

thanks!

The clear plastic is kind of shiny but the picture is more matte. White, black and gray.

That is pretty nice, you could also cut portions of it to make your own collage and post them on plain canvas. Cheap, city-scape art... I can't see it hanging in my bathroom, but I would definitely have fun making something out of it.

The Izzola Shower site (http://www.izolashower.com/collection1.html) has more destination designs (Pyramids! London! Colosseum! Las Vegas!) as well as patterns, artist series, and coming soon a full color NY City Subway map.

slow walking zones only! no one wants to drive 70mph into a shower curtain.
