While CBGB's eviction continues to rile those who hate to see the aging, cramped, no-longer-that-hip rock club dissappear, Enrique has sent in a fine way to purchase some solidarity (and a piece of the legend):
CBGB Shower Curtain ($17.95)
As Enrique says, "Similar to Jonathan Adler’s '7 Deadly Sins' shower curtain, but like… more punk rock, ya know?" (Thanks, Enrique!)

ok, i'm probably going to get gutted for this, but cbgb hasn't paid their rent in full for three years. three years. am i wrong for not feeling sorry for them?
i hate to see any ny institution meet its end, but when they make themselves seem like a victim, it really ticks me off, ya know? if you haven't been able to pay your rent in full for three years, maybe they should have started to have fund raisers earlier than last month?
anyway, just my 2 cents.
d*s
Don’t forget about the great resource that other cultures can be to help ad some variation and colorful beauty to an area. These could be pieces from Africa, Asia, or the middle east. One cultural piece that fits impressively well into most western homes are good weavings from the Caucasus or middle east. These can have a bold and warm colors as well as feeling nice and soft on your feet. If you would like to look at some such rugs I would suggest Hazaad.com (http://www.hazaad.com/) as a good source for high quality rugs online.
I thought CBs was paying their OLD rent, but not the new and...enriched bamillions of rent the mission was trying to charge them. I thought that Hilly says he wasn't properly informed/didn't know about the bamillion rent increase of three years.
What's funny to me is the childrens who adopt this style, lo this quarter century (or more) later.
Punk, the new mid-century modern.
No thanks! Given the state of CBGB's actual bathrooms, that logo might go better with a petri dish than a soap dish.
I can't read any of the text other than CBGB...what does the curtain say?
