It's the TowelTender, a towel bar made specifically for pedestal sinks. Available in chrome, brass, bronze, and satin nickel. the bar has padded ends that rest on the interior of the sink. It's completely temporary, so it's great for renters. Priced at $30 each, we can imagine that these could solve towel-hanging problems in many tiny bathrooms with limited wall space.
I love it. When I get rid of the crappy sink and install my pedestal sink I will have to get one of these.

Brillant! And styled perfectly for old sinks with its graceful line.

Love the fluid line on this... very pretty! Wish I had a pedestal sink!

How timely!!! I just moved into a new place with a pedestal sink and no towel bar. This is just what I was looking for!
Any other (cheaper?) alternatives? Thanks!

I wish I still lived in my old apartment with the pedestal sink *sigh*. This is a wonderful idea! Love it!

Tempting. Very tempting. My bathroom has no room for regular towel bars.
Cloverdale - There are pedestal sinks with built in towel bars, but of course they're much more money and work. I don't know that you're going to find cheaper than $30.

I love, love, love it. And the blue and white towel, also.
