intlogo.jpgIntérieurs defies categorization. As the brainchild and testing ground of designer Francine Gardner, her Franklin Street shop offers a unique, globally inspired aesthetic vision that artfully blends the present with the past to create harmonious, elegant living environments...

Distinctively modern, contemporary clean lines mix with antiques from around the world, such as Italy, Morocco, and Asia. The final look is strong and uncluttered, yet still luxurious and inviting. Everything is comfortable and the range of pieces is impressive, from outdoor tables to indoor lighting to beds.

New York Magazine says: While the heavily monolithic solid wood furniture is predominantly dark-stained, highly polished and crafted of old, recycled or rare woods, there are more rustic pieces, too. Salvaged industrial tables, chairs and cabinets are made with darkly patina’ed metal, and the overarching earth-toned color palette is livened by patches of deep color in the linens and Himalayan cashmere pillows and throws. Intérieurs also carries furniture and accessories by several French designers, including the company Modénature.

I'm digging what appears to be the leather trunk cabinets (I'm sure given the fanciness of the website, it's not pleather). Speaking of website. I didn't find prices for anything. Did anyone?

I wandered through here the last time I was in New York. This is really my dream vibe. Dark satin finished woods against creamy white walls with some nice upholstered pieces to soften and warm the whole minimalist look. Love it. But with basic (very nice) side tables around $2000, it is definitely on the pricey side.
