Gau Design's Zen Garden Sink

03.28.zen.jpg

What's growing in your bathroom sink? It's not quite such a scary question when you're talking about Gau Design's Zen Garden Sink...

The concrete sink is designed with a trough that catches waste water and channels it to a plant growing next to the sink basin.

We love the monolithic concrete material and the nod to water reuse. Sure beats running it all straight down the drain. The sink's available in 3', 5', and 7' lengths. (via Treehugger.)

I want it! How much does it weigh? It's charm and beauty comes from the appearance that it's floating. Also I'm guessing that since you can stain concrete, it's color could change?

Um, how do plants like soap? Or toothpaste?
