Please don't demean and dilute the word "brilliant" by applying it to these.

Aww, I like them. Some of them--like the bike--don't have toilet connotations, and thus I think are not icky.

oh good lord...when is it going to end?? wall decals, drinking glass decals, window decals, and now toilet decals?

whatever happened to things being simple and un-cluttered?

goodnightdean - You're picturing someone having all those decals everywhere. I only have one on the toilet tank, and it's amusing. (Okay, I'm lying; I did flame my mixer, too. But that's under a cover most of the time.) I probably wouldn't put any of the others up.

On the other hand, it is like endless spin-offs from the same lame TV show, or identical cop shows that sprout up everywhere the minute one cop show becomes popular.

love it!

especially since renovating a bathroom is WAY more expensive than, say, painting your living room (and completely out of the question for renters).

i hate decorative soaps and candles cluttering up the top of the tank, i hate decorative towels and frilly shower curtains. this is a fun, subtle way to spruce up your commode.

One on the corner of a clawfoot tub, yay. Decals all over the home, boo.

And I wouldn't put it on the toilet, though I might accost the wall-tiling.

goodnightdean--

It will end when someone invents decal decals.

theambershow--

There is something just plain wrong about the phrase "spruce up your commode."

This week's New York Magazine suggests we get a huge Christmas tree vinyl decal to decorate our house with. And yess, it comes with decal stars and ornaments as well!
Sheesh - the editors even added a chipper, "and it saves space...."

Well, sure. Sticking some vinyl on your wall will take up a lot less space than a real, fragrant, living (sort of), prickly tree.
Hasn't this gone too far, now, really?

Good taste, good schmaste. My husband showed me these on Crib Candy last night, and we agreed that the dark blue octopus is going on our toilet post-haste. It may be the only thing that redeems the light blue toilet and fixtures our landlord has inflicted on us.
