I have made many trips to the Rhode Island School of Design in the past several years, and been continually impressed by the quality of student work produced at this renowned institution. i have to say, as a recent graduate of another fine arts program who was admitted but chose NOT to attend RISD (a wonderful college where many friends of mine have gone and continue to go, might i add. don't get me wrong here), i would just like to remind anyone within a convenient distance of any school with an art department that undergraduate/graduate shows are ALWAYS a breeding ground for fresh young talent who are willing to sell their work for pennies. don't discount a school simply because it does not have the name brand punch of some of their larger counterparts!
