Even More Craft Rooms

Craft rooms are enticing. I wonder what it is, specifically? The organization (or at least the potential) of it? The assorted mix of boxes, cubbies and containers? The variety of colors, textures, patterns and objects?

To steal a phrase from the kitchen, I like the mise en place — putting in place or everything in place. Even the most minimal craft area usually has at least a pencil holder. Then...then you can begin!

Thanks! I'm putting together my craft room now and these are inspiring. I'm turning into a organizational freak. Not that that's a bad thing.

I use Ikea's Expedit to store my fabric too! It's so nice. I don't fold, though, I roll the pieces up like they do with remnants at textile stores and tie with pony tail holders. Works like a charm - I love how the expedit makes a huge pile of fabric look organized!

Wow, how organized! Love it! It all looks very enticing & just makes a person want to do something crafty. I love being organized, and just recently purchased the coolest work center just like the one that Pottery Barn sells, but mine cost a lost less! I purchased it in Oak, but as I remember it comes in several different finishes. For anyone interested in buying one or taking a look at this I great buy I found, go to http://www.ilikefurniture.com/vhzpc.html. This work center is great because you can do so much with it! I use mine for scrapbooking a lot, and some sewing, but it really has so many uses.

Your craft room has really inspired me to add more shelving to my room as well! Great job, and happy crafting days to you!
