Garner an invitation to the White House, and you may get to enjoy home grown spinach, hot peppers, and Thai basil--plucked from a presidential organic vegetable garden.

Marian Burros's article in the New York Times, reports that Mrs. Obama, along with twenty-three fifth graders from Bancroft Elementary School, will get started on the plot tomorrow.

And the rest of her family will pull weeds, “whether they like it or not."

While she'll definitely have more help than the rest of us would, we love the example that this sends about health eating. It's already got us have thinking about getting a container garden started soon!
