Objects as Wall Decor in Kids' Rooms

We've been considering alternative wall decoration for kids' rooms recently. What are the options? There are plenty of unique and interesting prints out there, like these ecclectic prints or these ABC prints. But what about using material objects on the wall? We found three ideas we love, and we're looking for more!

In the examples above, household items have been used as art on the walls, from the large abacus to the guitar to vintage Little People figures. It's a great way to create unusual and perhaps more meaningful decor for kids.

The possibilities could be endless. But we want to know what you think. Have you ever used an object as wall decor in a child's room? What other pieces might work well as decoration? Let us know in the comments.
