I'm astonished at both the design -- which is fantastic -- and the use -- which is baffling. My fear-of-flying mother manages to cross the Atlantic one Cunard or another with two standard suitcases.

Does it come with a little dog?

Hmmmm. It's unfortunate that the wheels look weak and the exterior does not seem durable. Although something like this would never actually be used in travel... it would be nice if the design at least replicated the tough image of the steamer trunk of yesteryear. If it had larger coasters and a more durable finish it might actually seem like something someone might use on a cruiseship.

But is it TSA approved?

These are so old-school in concept but the design is so new school. Love it. I've always lusted after one of those really old Louis Vuitton travel trunks.

I so love this idea. Not for travel but for self-contained storage or frequent moves. Students perhaps?

I would like to see this concept applied to an office/workspace. I see that a stool is included and think it would be great if there was a desk space inside.

I have visions of an attempt using the Fira or Mackis lines of small storage...
