Kristin, over at The Hunted Interior, is a wellspring of crafty projects that fill her own home with beautiful furniture and decor. Recently she built a chinoiserie-inspired console table for her living room, based on the bright Jacqui Desk from Bungalow 5 (pictured above). Read on for the impressive results.

It's bright, glossy and looks great against the black walls. While the original console costs $1625, Kristin's table came in at about $50.
