Recently I've been really into offices. Home offices specifically, but also the design of studio spaces has been a major interest of mine. When talking to a friend of mine, we both had some major questions: How many shelves is too many? How do we decorate the shelves? What are good paint solutions to combine on the walls with our shelves? What is considered cluttered and what is considered too minimalist?
I think a home office can be either a very calm and serene environment — or it can end up looking cluttered and too much like a corporate space. Even business centers are now quite savvy in design and feng shui. I suppose my biggest challenge in office/desk space would be storage and shelving. What do I want to display? How do I provide proper storage, without over crowding the desk or wall? As a photographer, I hope to combine a photo studio and my office into one inspiration.
What are your Home Office and Studio suggestions?
