This corner, submitted by Apartment Therapy reader Moxie, is a great example of how industrial objects can add a little bit of an edge to a home office. If you like this look, we've rounded up a few sources (listed below) for similar industrial furnishings.

McMaster-Carr: This supplier has dozens and dozens of industrial products, from lighting to desks to doors to plumbing. Prices are reasonable, and there are plenty of supplies for the DIYer. We noticed their selection of Industrial Clocks, starting at $16.

FS Industries: Headquartered in Rhode Island, FS Industries is a catalog-based resource for shelving, tool carts, industrial seating, and storage. They have a variety of steel shelving and carts that would work well in a workroom or home office. This is the 2-Drawer Tool Toter, $336.

Sutherland Felt: Based out of Michigan, Sutherland is one of the largest suppliers of industrial felt in North America. For home projects, check out their selection of Architectural/Specialty Materials. They can custom-dye or sew wool felt between 1/16" to 1" thick. These Custom Sewn Felt Boxes would be useful and chic in a modern home office.

Alimed Surgical Supply: This manufacturer and supplier of medical products is a great resource for ergonomic office supplies - they actually have an entire section of their site dedicated to ergonomic computer stands, accessories, and lighting. The Outdoors In Lamp ($101) simulates sunlight and reduces eyestrain.

Uline: This shipping goods supplier is a good place to look for carts, worktables, bins, boxes, and paper products. The Magnum Hopper Bins (starting at $32) offer stackable, rolling storage for materials and office supplies.

C&H Distributors: "The Storage and Handling Leader" sells heavy duty equipment and industrial supplies. They have a surprisingly large selection of office furniture and accessories. Steel desks abound, some of them with useful, space-saving designs like the Relius Solutions Wall-Hung Foreman's Shop Desk, $165. For a side table similar to the one in Moxie's room (shown above), check out their machine stands.

Advance Tabco: This online catalog is actually a comprehensive source for commercial grade, restaurant supply stainless kitchenware, but we think their stainless steel work tables would be great for a designer's office or a large space that needs a big, durable, and easy-to-clean work table.
