A Paris Office Space with Trees and Audio Domes

The new Paris branch of PONS and HUOT resides in what was previously a 19th century factory hall. Putting cubicles to shame, this new office features real Ficus Panda trees and half-bubbles made from plexiglass for audio privacy.

Designed by Pottgiesser, the PONS and HUOT Paris headquarters is unique in several ways. First, the visually striking canopy of Ficus trees, with lush green foliage, improves the interior air quality. Second, all of the interior offices share the same giant table. One solid oak table weaves its way through the space, accommodating the eight ficus trees and workstations, which are distributed throughout the room. The half-bubbles then provide a private space, of sorts, allowing natural light, but not audio, to reach the user.
