We really like the artwork at Gallery Saint Germain. Often dark, moody, abstracted landscapes and grand-scale glossy images line the gallery walls. We were in for a surprise (and a treat) when we walked by and saw these hysterical dog portraits by photographer Frank Bruynbroek. We were struck by how joyous these images are and how easily they brought a smile to our somewhat sullen puss. Unlike a Wegman photo where dogs are manipulated into looking like humans, it's these dogs’ direct stare into camera that allow their personification to exist in the most delightful way.
