Name: Andrea
Location: Raleigh, NC
Children: Baby U, arriving in January
Inspiration: We wanted a room that our child can grow in and enjoy. The circus poster was the centerpiece of the design and it is special to me because I got it at the circus when I was a child. We chose bright colors to complement the playfulness of our personalities and hopefully to create a space that our son can thrive in!

Tip for Using Color: Don't be afraid of bright colors! Using different shades of one color and then adding in an accent here and there is a great way to be creative and cohesive at the same time.

Colors Used: The nursery walls are Benjamin Moore Zero VOC paint in Blue Bayou

Shaw's Original Fir...
I will say that by the time your child is 3 they might be afraid of that leaping panther...my kid (who's admittedly in a 'frightened of everything' stage) would be....
cute room! the panther does look a bit scary, but the idea behind it is sweet :)
what a great nursery! a very different take on our circus-themed room. :)
i like the wall color.
love the bedding and the use of decals around the shelving.
i love the panther poster and that this really is a room the child can grow with.
I love this room! You have such a way with colors! And don't think I didn't notice the raisins... :)
I think that little whale motif on the little side table is such a great touch... great room!
Good job! Where did you get the circus poster? I really want one.
Thanks everyone! The circus poster was purchased AT the circus I am guessing almost 20 years ago (eek!) so you might be able to find it on ebay? Good luck!
