Name: Cassie
Location: Norfolk, VA
Children: Perry Avery, arriving any day now!
Inspiration: The color inspiration came from a quilt I made a couple years ago. It’s currently hanging on the side of the crib.

Tip for Using Color: I chose a more neutral green for the walls in order to make the bolder green, blue and orange accents pop. Plus, I wanted the room to be a calming refuge for me as well as my baby.
Colors Used: Valspar 5004-9C Beach Sparkle (blue) and Valspar 6010-4 Amazon Silt - both in semi-gloss

Very charming room! I love blue and green together, and the orange accents are perfect. It looks like a very comfortable room for your soon-to-arrive baby!
I love this room and the name Avery. I have a student with the name Avery (I teach high school) and he is the sweetest boy.
This is one of my favorite rooms (I know I keep saying that, but then I see another one that quickly becomes my new favorite). The colors are soothing, everything flows together so nicely. Love the picture of the alphabet-where did you get it?
