Our little guy is missing his time in the sandbox. We're thinking this miniature version can satiate him until the weather warms up again.

We're suckers for great looking storage. Once the kids came, we quickly learned that our hard- and sharp-edged storage containers were no longer practical. Soft, pliable baskets that look good are what we prescribe. These burlap buckets are a great option.

What is a favorite tableware choice for baby in our household? It's Papa's camping gear. We use titanium camping dishes from time to time, especially when baby is self-feeding.

Did you catch the Winners of our Kids' Color Contest 2008? Julianna's Rainbow Room came out on top for the fantastic use of color Mama Jenny came up with. Did you know we posted about Jenny's plan for Julianna's nursery room before? Click below for a BEFORE shot of the fabulous nursery...

We're loving chocolate brown in the nursery. It's rich, warm, neutral, modern and goes with almost any other color. When we spotted these delightful pillowcases over at Fine Little Day, we had to squeal a little bit.

The woodland theme is on its way to becoming a mini-trend for children's rooms. Remember the pink and green woodland nursery we featured recently? Very pink, sweet and enchanted. And here is another child's room with a woodland theme.

Do you remember this Clean + Modern Nursery we featured previously? Two of the features we loved about this nursery were the color palette - brick red, fiery orange and a cool blue - and the modern clean lines. This same color palette can work in a grown-ups room as well (picture after the jump)...

We love partaking in Chinese dim sum - the yummy little tapas-portioned snacks that eat like a meal. Dim Sum, particularly the assortment of dumplings, are a favorite of little ones. Thanks to Etsy seller dolittle design (via Babygadget), your little one can enjoy them any time.

In honor of our November theme of all things food-related, check out these yummy Cheerio treats. We don't always have Rice Krispies, but what house with young children doesn't have Cheerios in the pantry? This great idea for a treat came from Let's Explore.

FLOR carpet tiles in the nursery is not a new topic here at Ohdeedoh. A big part of why we like them for children's spaces are the endless configurations you can create. We love these striped FLOR tiles in this nursery featured in an AT: Chicago House Tour.
We picked up an Imagination Placemat by Emily Green and it's quickly become a permanent fixture on our dining table. One side features Emily's vibrant artwork. The other side is blank - ready to take on washable markers and crayons.

Is it too soon? Yesterday's cold rain wasn't our idea of fun, but cold snow -- that's definitely to our liking. This year we want to be prepared. The graceful lines and craftmanship of the KinderSleigh are beckoning.

So some of us love IKEA's Lillberg Rocker, and some of us don't. Either way you've got to admit, it cleans up very nicely. The Lillberg is no longer our nursing rocker but the wide proportions make it great for storytime. We love its simple frame and cream canvas cushions. Just a bit of creativity dresses it up so beautifully. (Another shot after the jump...)

We knew when we first went wild over Zara Home that it would be a long-running love affair. Here is our latest favorite find from the Spanish retailer - the Animales Rug. Oh the fun we would have naming all of the creatures.

Take a walk through nature in this little girl's woodland room. We came upon this charming space while reading Cup of Coco's blog and were amazed by the details. (More pictures below the jump...)
