"Okay." The word is used all the time. It even pops up in some pretty cool artwork (the new "keep calm", perhaps?). Take a look!

I'm sensing an unusually high level of anxiety in my clients lately. The media is certainly doing their best to hype up the fear frenzy, too. Maybe that's why this type of message is reassuring to some people.
@ Klaus: I have been very depressed lately, due to several things: the Middle East issues, our crap economy, and this unending rain and darkness on the east coast. If I could have a reminder that things will get better (and I think they will, to a degree) then I will take what I can get, even if it's a little piece of paper that reads 'Everything will be Ok'. Maybe it is a strange theme for posters, but it struck me in a good way at just the right time. Funny how that works sometimes, eh?
I just made some text prints for my house, neither has the word "okay", but one of them carries sort of the same message.
@ FengShuiByFishgirl, I work in a medical Library, and yes, we are all tense: The Governor of PA has threatened to cut education spending by 50%. So yeah, a little tense around here.
Everyone should check out bataclan.com!
He makes cute little characters, and leaves paintings all over the world with a little note that says the painting is free if they promise to smile at more people. He also did an "Everything will be alright" series of drop offs, too!
"...or else" : love the irony.
This "everything is okay" print hangs in our bathroom and makes me smile every day: http://www.etsy.com/listing/37554924/everything-is-okay-print
I love this. I used to ask my ex to tell me everything would be okay when I was on the verge of a panic attack. Sometimes it's relaxing to just tell yourself that all of your worries and concerns will go away someday.
I hope things work out for you, javagirl1972. I'm thinking of getting the sunny yellow one, as I could sure use some sunshine here, too.
I like this meme ... sometimes okay is the best you can do.
The first one made me laugh.
Thanks, 5TH.
